WHY LOCAL? WHY NOW? Every dollar we spend is a choice. Buying local means investing in friends and neighbors. It means caring for those who care about you. And often, it means doing it in a healthy, smart way, that multi-nationals don’t have the ability, infrastructure, or bottom-line to stomach.
OUR FIRST EVENT: A WATER PAIRING!
For our first outing Dogmatic Restaurant (home of a unique and locally sourced gourmet sausage system) and Tap’dNY (New York’s first local bottle of water) played host. 30 people came out to talk local as we paired off several combinations from the menu with New York’s finest H20 - like a wine pairing, but with water! Everyone came with an open mind and left with a full stomach, some food for thought, and without spending a penny thanks to our generous sponsors!
The guestlist is filling up fast for our next event (it’s looking like we’ve got another resturante, but this time a few other local treats to enjoy along the way). Hope to see you there neighbor.
